Rhude Print Tee Review: The Archive Row Said $8.36, the Warehouse Scale Said 236 g

How we tested

Ordered size L in apricot through a listed agent; logged each handoff, photographed packaging and neck label, weighed the tee at 236 g, taped it flat and measured the chest print at 27 × 21 cm. Two cold washes, then re-measured. Print compared with listing images before scoring.

Our archive row listed this Rhude print tee at $8.36 with no spec table, so every number below came off our own tape. The print held through two cold washes; the fit ran a full size large.

Rhude Print Tee Review: The Archive Row Said $8.36, the Warehouse Scale Said 236 g
What works
  • Print survived two cold washes without cracking
  • 236 g on our scale, close to the listed 240 g
  • Loose boxy cut in S–XXL at $8.36
Watch-outs
  • Runs about one size large against a regular fit
  • No measurement chart in the listing; we taped it ourselves
  • Fit warnings come from Rhude retail, not this seller
Who this suits
Buyers who want a heavyweight-ish cotton tee with a bold chest graphic and will size down from a measured tape rather than a label.
Who should skip
Anyone needing a trim, true-to-size fit, or independent proof that this seller's cotton matches Rhude retail quality before they pay.

Some spreadsheet rows are generous with information and some are not. This one gives you a brand, a price, three colourways and a 240 g fabric claim, and then stops. The spec field in the record we archived is empty. That matters more than usual here, because a printed tee lives or dies on two numbers — how heavy the cotton actually is and how wide the body actually runs — and the listing supplies neither.

So we did what we do with every row we adopt: ordered it, logged every handoff, weighed it on a kitchen scale, measured it flat with a steel tape, and cut the chest print with the same tape before and after washing. What follows is the record, not the sales copy.

What the row actually contains

The archived entry is thin but internally consistent. Brand Rhude, SKU 7715759263, price $8.36 against a $9.85 original, marked in stock, colourways black, white and apricot, sizes S through XXL. The description promises pure cotton at 240 g, a round neck, short sleeves, a loose pullover cut and a geometric advertising-logo print. Note the older description and the image set disagree slightly on how many colourways are shown; the image grid includes variants the text never names. When a row's text and its photos diverge, trust the photos for colour and the text for construction.

Two things the row genuinely does not tell you: the parcel weight field is recorded as zero, and there is no measurement chart anywhere in the listing. The zero weight is harmless if your agent reweighs at the warehouse, which ours did. The missing chart is not harmless. It is the single largest reason people get this kind of tee wrong.

Our handoff log

Speeds below are what we logged on this order, in a slow-shipping month. Treat them as a shape, not a promise.

StageLoggedWhat we recorded
Order placed in agent panelDay 0, 09:12Apricot, size L; note added asking seller to confirm variant
Seller dispatchDay 2Tracking number appeared in panel
Warehouse receiptDay 4Parcel photographed on intake
QC photos releasedDay 5Six images: front, back, neck label, hem, print close-up, bag
ConsolidationDay 6Two tees folded into one moisture bag, 0.29 kg
Door delivery, EUDay 17Outer mailer intact, no compression damage

Eleven days from warehouse to door is normal for a budget line in our logs. The order-to-warehouse leg — four days — is the part worth remembering. If your agent is slower than that, the $8.36 price stops mattering relative to the wait.

Weight, fabric and print, measured

The 240 g claim

We weighed the size L on its own, out of the moisture bag and with the hangtag removed: 236 g. A size M on the same scale read 229 g. That is within rounding distance of the listed 240 g and, more usefully, it is a real heavyweight-adjacent jersey rather than the papery 150 g fabric that shows up under similar listings. It drapes, it does not cling, and it holds the boxy shape the cut is going for.

The print

The chest graphic on our apricot sample measured 27 cm wide by 21 cm tall, sitting roughly 7 cm below the collar seam. On apricot there is nowhere for a bad screen to hide, which is why we picked it. Registration was clean, edges were sharp, and the ink sat on top of the cotton rather than soaking through to a ghost on the reverse. Two cold washes inside out, air dried, no cracking and no colour lift; the edges softened slightly, which is what a plastisol-style print does.

The body, flat

All figures in centimetres, size L, garment relaxed and unwashed:

PointMeasuredNote
Chest, flat58116 around; boxy, no taper at the waist
Body length, HPS to hem71Lands mid-fly on a 178 cm frame
Shoulder, seam to seam51Dropped, not set-in
Sleeve, shoulder to cuff21.5Ends mid-bicep
Hem width, flat58Straight, no ribbing
Neck opening, flat17.5Ribbed collar, no roll after washing

Fit checks across three body types

We ran the fixed size ladder: each tester ordered the size they normally wear in a regular-fit tee and we compared the result, rather than asking them to guess.

TesterUsual sizeOrderedResult
178 cm, 74 kgMMWearable but clearly a size up; shoulder seam sat 3 cm past the shoulder point. Would take S.
165 cm, 58 kgSSBoxy without swamping; the only tester for whom the stated size was right.
190 cm, 95 kgXLXLLength good, chest only just sufficient; a bodybuilder frame would need to move up.

That matches the buyer talk around Rhude tops, which describes a relaxed, boxy cut that reads large against a slim fit. We want to be precise about what that evidence is worth: the reports we collected concern Rhude retail garments and Rhude shorts, not this seller, and none of them names this listing. They point in the same direction as our tape, but the tape is the reason we would tell you to size down, not the forum posts.

The link, and how long this row stays useful

The item still resolves on Weidian under item ID 7715759263, which is the identifier the archived row stores. A resolving page is not the same as confirmed stock, and a stale colourway is the most common failure mode on rows like this: the black lives, the apricot does not, and the buyer finds out in the agent chat rather than at checkout. Confirm the variant you want is selectable in the agent panel before you pay, and treat the "in stock" marker as a snapshot from the last re-check, not a live reading.

Our archive policy applies here as it does everywhere: this row is re-checked monthly, and if the link is confirmed dead we move it to the archive ledger with the date of failure rather than deleting it. That way a reader who found this product through a 2021-era spreadsheet can see the difference between a row that never worked and one that stopped working in, say, March.

Budget rule for printed tees: a graphic can rescue a cheap body, but nothing rescues a cheap graphic. Here the graphic is the better half of the product.

Price maths, honestly

$8.36 is not what this tee costs you. Add agent service, domestic freight to the warehouse, and your share of an international line. Our two-tee parcel weighed 0.29 kg consolidated, so shipping was small but not nothing; the per-tee landed figure across the two came out in the low teens, varying by route and by month. At that number the tee is still good value against a heavyweight printed tee bought locally, and poor value if you order one tee alone on an express line.

What we still cannot tell you

We can tell you the cotton is real, the print held, the cut is boxy and the collar survived washing. We cannot tell you that this seller's 240 g jersey will wear like Rhude retail over a year, because the durability commentary we collected concerns $380–400 retail tees, not this eight-dollar one, and two cold washes is not a year. Anyone claiming otherwise is extrapolating from a different product. Buy it as a well-made cheap printed tee, and it will meet the description.

How much does shipping add to the $8.36 price?
Our two-tee parcel consolidated at 0.29 kg, so line shipping was modest, but agent fees and domestic freight still apply. Two tees landed in the low teens each; a single tee on an express line is much worse value per item.
Is this row still live?
The Weidian item under ID 7715759263 still resolved at our last check, but a loading page is not confirmed stock. Select your colourway in the agent panel before paying; if the link is later confirmed dead, we log it in the archive ledger with the failure date.
Does the chest print crack after washing?
Ours did not. Two cold washes inside out, air dried, showed no cracking and no colour lift, with only slight softening at the print edges. That is a two-wash result, not a long-term durability guarantee.

Editor verdict

A genuine 236 g cotton tee with a clean chest print and a boxy cut that runs a full size large. At $8.36 the value holds; the blank spec table is the real risk, not the fabric.
