About

Pandabuy Archive Sheets began in 2021 as a shared file between three friends in Rotterdam who were tired of spreadsheet rows that led to nothing. Pandabuy's own sheets are gone, but the literacy problem they created is not: readers still find copied rows, screenshots and old forum posts, and they still need to know whether a code is historical or currently orderable.

We are an editorial desk, not a directory. We keep an archive ledger of rows we have personally handled, and we publish current-link checks and hands-on reviews of products we ordered through live buying agents. Our testing team buys the item, receives the parcel, photographs the packaging, measures the garment and records agent timing. That is the whole basis of what we publish.

The desk is three editors with a fixed review cadence and a written corrections process. We work in English, keep our records in English, and translate any non-English source before it enters the archive.

We are funded by affiliate links to buying agents and by nothing else. Our contact address is [email protected] and we answer archive corrections within five working days.

Marloes van Dijk

Editor in Chief

Marloes started as a copy editor for a Rotterdam logistics trade paper, where she spent four years checking freight tables before moving to consumer research. She founded this desk in 2021 after watching readers chase spreadsheet rows that had been dead for a year. She owns the archive ledger and the rule that no row enters it without a date and an outcome.

Thijs Bakker

Reviews Editor

Thijs spent three years running quality checks for a Rotterdam footwear importer, measuring incoming pairs against spec sheets, before joining the desk in 2022. He orders every featured product, opens parcels on camera and keeps the size ladder. He writes the timing figures readers use to judge whether an old row is still worth pursuing.

Sanne de Groot

Research Editor

Sanne worked as a research analyst for a Dutch consumer affairs programme, building comparison tables from raw supplier data, before joining the desk in 2022. She rebuilds old sheet structures into readable English tables and checks every claim against a primary record. She maintains the glossary that explains how spreadsheet rows, codes and agent fields relate to each other.
