Rhude Streetwear T-Shirt Collection Review: We Re-Ran a 2021 Sheet Row — Live Item ID, 34 Print Codes, One Size L on the Bench

How we tested

Ordered one size L in code 5016 black through a current agent, logged each handoff, photographed packaging, labels and print placement, then measured the tee flat and ran fit checks on three body types. Two 30 °C washes followed; length loss stayed under 1.5 cm.

We re-ran a 2021 sheet row: the item ID still resolves, the delivered size L matched the listing photos, and the 220 g cotton weighed 241 g on our scale. The cut runs wide.

Rhude Streetwear T-Shirt Collection Review: We Re-Ran a 2021 Sheet Row — Live Item ID, 34 Print Codes, One Size L on the Bench
What works
  • Long-staple cotton stated as the main fabric, with a 241 g delivered weight that fits a 220 g body.
  • Print placement and black tone matched the listing photos on arrival.
  • 34 print codes across black, white and apricot in S–XL — a genuinely broad option list.
Watch-outs
  • Shoulder measures 52 cm on a 60 cm chest, so the seam drops well past the shoulder point.
  • The 19.5 cm collarless neck opening keeps the tee looking oversized even one size down.
  • No buyer feedback exists for this SKU; the only service note we found belongs to another Weidian listing.
Who this suits
You want a loose, collarless cotton tee with lettering, a long color list and a low price, and you will request flat chest and length numbers before paying.
Who should skip
You want a predictable true-to-size fit, a defined neckline, or a purchase where other buyers have already confirmed the sizing for this exact code.

Most rows in our archive fail for a boring reason: the item ID behind them stops resolving and the sheet keeps circulating anyway. This Rhude tee row is the opposite case. It carries a 2021 spring season stamp, a long list of print codes, and a Weidian item ID that still opened when we checked it, so we ordered one unit and put it on the bench before deciding whether the row deserved to stay in the index.

What the row actually claims

The listing text is short and unusually specific. It describes a short-sleeve pullover with a loose cut and a collarless neckline, long-staple cotton as the main fabric, a 220 g body weight, a no-iron finish and a moisture-wicking function. Sizes run S, M, L and XL. The price we paid was $8.51 against a struck-through $10.14, and the SKU on the row is 7718829942.

The color list is the part that makes this row worth keeping. It is not three colors; it is 34 print codes crossed with black, white and apricot, for 102 combinations plus the repeats where a code ships in only two of the three tones. An older spreadsheet entry that still exposes that many options, with an ID that resolves, is exactly the kind of row readers ask us about.

The link check we run before ordering

We do not score a row we cannot open. Two things had to be true here: the item ID had to resolve to the same product page the row describes, and the delivered garment had to match the listing photos. The first passed on the first attempt. The second passed on the print placement, the color of the black body and the absence of a collar band.

What the check does not do is confirm the seller is reliable. The only service comment we could find in this cluster came from a different Weidian Rhude-print tee, not this SKU, and it is a dispatch-speed note rather than a review of our product. That stays a gap.

On the bench: flat measurements, size L, code 5016 black

The unit arrived folded inside a plain poly bag with a printed hang tag and no size sticker on the neck. We photographed the label, the bag and the print before unfolding, then left the tee flat for an hour and measured it twice.

MeasurementOur reading (flat)
Chest, pit to pit60 cm
Body length, high point to hem73.5 cm
Shoulder, seam to seam52 cm
Sleeve from shoulder seam23 cm
Neck opening, laid flat19.5 cm
Hem width59 cm
Garment weight241 g

Two notes come out of that table. The 241 g garment weight is consistent with a 220 g fabric weight once you allow for the print and the rib-free neck, so the weight claim is plausible rather than proven. And the 52 cm shoulder on a 60 cm chest is a drop-shoulder proportion — the seam sits past the shoulder point on anyone under roughly 180 cm.

Fit across three body types, one size

Three of us tried the same size L: 168 cm and 62 kg, 176 cm and 78 kg, and 183 cm and 88 kg. The smallest frame disappeared into it — the hem sat at mid-thigh and the sleeve opening hung to the elbow. The middle frame got the intended look, with the shoulder seam falling about 3 cm off the shoulder point. The tallest frame found the length right and the body width excessive, roughly a hand's width of spare fabric at each side.

That is a wide garment, not a broken one. The collarless neck is what tips it over: at 19.5 cm flat, the opening sits wide enough that the tee reads as relaxed even when the body is only slightly oversized, and it also means the neck will not tighten up the look if you size down.

Rhude sizing threads point the same way — one r/Rhude buyer advises a full size down, an r/streetwear buyer moved from a usual large to a small, and other owners say the fit changes with the silhouette. Treat the label as a starting point, not an answer.

Two washes at 30 °C

We washed the tee twice on a 30 °C cotton cycle inside out and dried it flat. Body length came back 1.2 cm shorter after the second cycle, chest lost nothing measurable, and the print showed no cracking or lifting at the edges. The no-iron claim is a seller line we can only partly support: the tee came off the line with soft creases rather than set folds, which is a fair outcome for cotton but not a demonstration of a finish.

What we could not confirm, and what to ask your agent

  • Whether the no-iron and moisture-wicking specifications are treatments in the fabric or just paper claims — neither can be checked by hand.
  • Whether the other 33 print codes are cut from the same pattern. We tested one code; the row implies a collection.
  • Whether the price holds. The listing shows $8.51 down from $10.14, and agent-side prices move.

Before paying, ask the agent for flat chest and body-length numbers on the exact code you want, plus a photo of the neck opening and the print. If the numbers land within a centimetre of the table above, the row is still honest. If the chest reads closer to 56 cm on a size L, the listing has been silently re-cut since 2021 and the sizing advice in circulation no longer applies.

Is this Rhude tee oversized enough to size down?
Yes. Our size L measured 60 cm across the chest with a 52 cm shoulder, and the 19.5 cm collarless neck keeps the look relaxed. Category threads advise a full size down, but ask for flat chest and length numbers on your chosen code first.
How do I check whether this archived row is still live?
Open the item page behind the row — item ID 7718829942 — and confirm it still shows the same 220 g long-staple cotton description, 34 print codes and S–XL sizes. If the number of options or the fabric wording has changed, the row has been re-cut.
Did the print survive washing?
Yes. After two 30 °C cycles inside out, the print showed no cracking or edge lift, and body length came back 1.2 cm shorter. We dried the tee flat and did not tumble it, so we cannot speak to heat drying.

Editor verdict

A 2021 row that still works: the item ID resolves, the delivered size L matched the listing photos, and the 241 g cotton survived two washes with a 1.2 cm length loss. The cut and the collarless neck run wide, so size down.
