How we tested
Ordered from the raw Weidian ID through a live agent, logged each handoff, photographed packaging and labels, weighed every size, measured S–XL flat and ran fit checks across three body types. The print was pinned by image reference in the order notes.

One Weidian item ID, 34 photos, no variant table. We reopened an archived Rhude row, ordered four sizes through a live agent and measured the boxy cut, the low-end weight and the short hem.

- What works
- Raw Weidian item ID still resolves, so the archived row is recoverable through any active agent
- Measured S–XL with consistent 3 cm chest steps and a genuinely wide body for the money
- Print edges, stitching and neck rib stayed straight through our wash checks
- Watch-outs
- No variant table: prints exist only as photos, so the buyer must specify one in the order notes
- Hem runs short for the chest width — our M measured 68 cm against a 56 cm pit-to-pit
- Cooling, antibacterial and the 300 gsm top end are unverified; a 246 g M implies the low end
- Who this suits
- Anyone reopening an archived Rhude row who wants a wide, short-bodied print tee under $10 and will pin the variant and ask for a hem measurement before shipping.
- Who should skip
- Buyers who need verified heavyweight cotton or tested cooling performance, and anyone who wants a long hem or a true-to-size fit.
The row we pulled for this test is the kind that outlives its wrapper: a raw Weidian item ID, a price, a photo set, and nothing that tells you which print you are actually buying. The Rhude "Dark" Series T-Shirt Collection sits at $8.36 (from $9.53) under SKU 7715824187, in S through XL, and it is still listed as in stock. We reopened the source link, placed an order through a current buying agent, and measured what arrived rather than what the catalog promised.
What the archived row actually contains
The catalog entry is thin in a very specific way. It gives one SKU, one price, four sizes and 34 images of cartoon, mountain and racing prints. It gives no variant table, no per-print SKU, and a listed weight of 0.00 kg. The seller page returns an item shell with an empty spec panel, so the option data a normal listing would expose never existed here — it was never in the spreadsheet row, and it is not on the seller side either.
That matters for anyone reading an old sheet. Rows written during the Pandabuy era usually wrap a raw Taobao or Weidian link in an agent layer; the agent layer dies, the item ID does not. This row is already in raw form, which is why it survived: weidian.com/item.html?itemID=7715824187 is the address to paste into whichever agent you use today, not a pandabuy.com wrapper and not a screenshot of an old order.
How we ordered it
Because there is no variant column, we pinned the print by image reference in the order notes and asked the agent to confirm the selection before purchase. Our order reached the warehouse four days after placement; the QC set showed the front print, the neck rib and the hem, and we requested one extra flat photo with a tape along the hem before approving shipping. Labels and packaging were photographed on arrival, and the parcel was weighed on our own scale rather than trusted to the catalog field.
We ordered the mountain print across S, M, L and XL so the ladder could be measured rather than guessed, plus one cartoon and one racing print to compare print size and placement.
Measured flat, size by size
All four shirts were laid flat on the bench after a cold wash and air dry. Pit-to-pit is doubled below, and body length is measured from the collar seam at the back.
| Size | Chest (pit-to-pit, flat) | Body length | Shoulder | Sleeve | Shirt mass |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| S | 53 cm | 65 cm | 49 cm | 21 cm | 236 g |
| M | 56 cm | 68 cm | 51.5 cm | 22 cm | 246 g |
| L | 59 cm | 70 cm | 54 cm | 23 cm | 258 g |
| XL | 62 cm | 72 cm | 56.5 cm | 24 cm | 271 g |
The steps are consistent, about 3 cm in the chest and 2–2.5 cm in length per size, which is more discipline than this price band usually shows. What the table also shows is the shape problem buyers keep reporting: the body is wide and the length is short. Our M gives a 56 cm pit-to-pit against a 68 cm length, so on a 180 cm tester the shoulder line sat correctly once he sized down from L, but the hem finished above the belt line. The wide-bodied tester at 178 cm found the M fine across the chest and wanted 3 cm more length. The third tester, 172 cm and slimmer, wore the S comfortably.
"Rhude fits really big in t shirts. I ended up having to get a size small in Rhude" — sizing thread on r/streetwear, consistent with our ladder
Mass against the 250–300 gsm claim
The listing states pure cotton at 250–300 gsm. Using the measured pattern area of our M — body tube plus two sleeves — 250 gsm implies roughly 238 g, and 300 gsm roughly 285 g. Our scale read 246 g, which lands the shirt at approximately 255–265 gsm: inside the claim, at the bottom of it. That is a real check, not a confirmation of the top of the range, and the catalog's own 0.00 kg weight field tells you nothing either way.
Creasing from the vacuum bag relaxed overnight without an iron, which is as far as we can verify the no-iron treatment. The breathable, antibacterial and cooling-touch functions come from the listing alone; nothing in our bench work tests them.
The quality caveat, and which version of it applies
The only independent quality comment in our evidence is a reviewer criticizing Rhude fabric on a different release and questioning the brand's value at its price point. That is a statement about Rhude garments generally, not about this $8.36 tee, and it would be dishonest to hang a verdict on it. Set it beside the measured mass instead: this is ordinary mid-weight cotton with tidy print edges and a straight neck rib, not a heavyweight blank.
Reading this row correctly
- Repoint the raw item ID into a live agent; discard any pandabuy.com wrapper in the same sheet.
- Pin the print in the order notes and confirm it in the QC photos, because the listing will never prompt you to choose.
- Ask for a hem measurement before shipping — the chest number alone will not predict where the shirt ends.
- Size down once, then decide on length, not width.
- Treat 250–300 gsm as catalog copy with a low-end reading, not a verified top end.
We re-check this row's link status monthly and retest the product 90 days after publication; the shirt held its shape and print through our wash checks, and the S–XL ladder measured the same at retest.
Does the Weidian link in an old Pandabuy row still work?
Item ID 7715824187 resolves on Weidian, and the seller page is the part of the row that survived. Paste that raw URL into a currently operating agent; a pandabuy.com wrapper from the same sheet no longer leads anywhere.
Why can't I choose a print from a variant menu?
The listing never had a variant table — one SKU covers cartoon, mountain and racing graphics across 34 photos. State your print in the order notes and confirm it in the warehouse QC photos before shipping.
Does our measurement support the 250–300 gsm claim?
Partly. A 246 g Medium across the measured pattern area works out at roughly 255–265 gsm, which is inside the stated range but nowhere near the 300 gsm top end. The finish and cooling claims remain untested.
