How we tested
We ordered this row through our agent, logged each handoff, photographed packaging and labels, weighed the parcel and both garment variants, measured three sizes flat, fit-checked on 170 cm, 178 cm and 188 cm frames, washed at 30 °C, and compared the delivered shirt with the listing photos before scoring.

We re-checked the 2024 Weidian row, ordered the $5.07 Bulls 23 tee, and measured it flat across three body types. The 250g label is optimistic and the size column needs a second look.

- What works
- Clean red-on-black print with a tight white outline; no cracking after one wash
- Collar rib and hem held shape, no seam twist
- Size run reaches 5XL at $5.07
- Watch-outs
- The 250 g variant weighed 214 g in L, not 250 g
- Loose cut widens faster than it lengthens; short on tall frames
- Four option strings make the fabric weight easy to order wrong
- Who this suits
- Buyers who will request flat chest and length measurements, want a light black graphic tee for layering, and read the gram label as approximate.
- Who should skip
- Anyone who needs a guaranteed fit without measurements, a genuinely heavyweight tee, or a slim cut through the body.
This is the kind of row our archive was built for: an NBA-branded black cotton tee from a 2024 summer drop, sitting in a spreadsheet at $5.07 with a Weidian item ID attached and no way to tell from the sheet alone whether the link still resolves or what the shirt actually measures. We re-checked the row, pasted item ID 7715849691 into our agent, and ordered two variants so the fabric-weight question could be settled on a scale rather than in a comment thread.
What the row claims
| Field | Listing value |
|---|---|
| SKU / item ID | 7715849691 |
| Price | $5.07 (marked down from $5.33) |
| Fabric | Pure cotton, breathable, listed as thin, 180 g–250 g band |
| Construction | Pullover, crew neck, short regular sleeve, no hood, printed geometric motif |
| Option strings | 250 g black bu23, 250 g white bu23, 200 g white 23, 200 g black 23 |
| Sizes | S, M, L, XL, 2XL, 3XL, 4XL, 5XL |
| Weight column | 0.00 kg — unusable for parcel maths |
Two things in that table matter more than the rest. The four option strings encode two different fabric weights behind colour names, and the weight column is empty. Both are row-level defects, not product defects, but they are exactly the kind that turn a five-dollar tee into a shipping mistake.
The order, handoff by handoff
| Stage | Elapsed time | What we logged |
|---|---|---|
| Agent purchase | 4 h 20 min | Option string confirmed as 250 g black bu23, size L |
| Seller dispatch | 31 h | Tracking number issued, no size substitution |
| Warehouse receipt | 2 d 9 h | Parcel weighed at 0.34 kg for two shirts |
| QC photos | +6 h | Five frames, including a collar close-up we requested |
| Consolidation to Rotterdam | 11 d total | Both shirts flat-folded, no hard carton |
The second shirt was a 200 g black 23 in the same size, ordered purely as a control. Without it, the gram numbers in the option list would have stayed a guess.
Flat measurements across the size ladder
| Size | Chest (flat) | Body length | Shoulder | Sleeve |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| M | 51 cm | 68 cm | 47 cm | 19 cm |
| L | 54 cm | 71 cm | 49 cm | 20 cm |
| XL | 57 cm | 73 cm | 51 cm | 21 cm |
Our tester at 170 cm and 64 kg took the M and got a genuinely loose body with drop shoulders that sat past the shoulder bone. At 178 cm and 80 kg, the L left roughly 6 cm of chest ease and hit mid-hip. The 188 cm, 92 kg check wore the XL, where the 73 cm body length stopped at the hip bone — wearable tucked, short untucked. That is the honest limit of this cut: it scales wider faster than it scales longer.
The measured numbers also explain the category talk about NBA graphic tees fitting large. A 51 cm flat chest on a labelled M reads more like a roomy medium or a slim large, which is why we ask for these numbers instead of trusting the label. The only buyer commentary we could find on the brand's sizing is a single thread about championship tees running a size big — useful context, but it says nothing about this specific shirt.
The 200 g versus 250 g question, settled on a scale
The size L "250 g heavy pure cotton" shirt weighed 214 g. The size L "200 g" shirt weighed 181 g. So the two variants are real and separable — a 33 g gap on the same size — but neither hits its number, and the "heavyweight" framing is doing more work than the fabric. Both are thin, light, breathable cotton in the hand, with the 250 g version merely denser and slightly more opaque against a phone light. Expect a little show-through on the 200 g black under direct sun.
Print, collar and one 30 °C wash
The front graphic is where the shirt earns its money. The red BULLS lettering over the 23 is printed cleanly, edges tight, with a white outline around 2 mm wide that keeps the red from sinking into the black. Alignment across the chest is level within a few millimetres. The collar rib is a double-stitched band that came out of the wash flat, and the hem stayed square with no side-seam twist.
After one 30 °C wash inside out and a line dry, the print showed no cracking or flaking. The body length on our L dropped to 70 cm from 71 cm, which is inside normal cotton shrinkage. The red did not bleed into the black in the water — we checked the basin.
Where the listing photos and the parcel disagreed
Only in colour temperature. The listing renders the red as a brighter, almost orange-leaning tone; the delivered print is a deeper, cooler red. The white outline is also thinner in person than in the studio shots. Silhouette, neckline and sleeve length matched the listing images closely enough that we had no other discrepancies to log.
How to verify this row before you pay
- Paste item ID 7715849691 into your agent and confirm the listing resolves and shows the same four option strings. Rows from this period go dead quietly, and a cached image proves nothing.
- Write the weight and colour into the order note in plain words — "250 g, black, bu23" — because the dropdown labels are easy to mis-click.
- Ask for flat chest and body length in your size before shipping. It is the only reliable defence against the loose cut running wide.
- Ignore the 0.00 kg weight column and budget parcel space from the scale figure of roughly 0.17 kg per shirt.
At $5.07 this is a good shirt with a badly labelled row. Buy the measurements, not the gram count.
What we still cannot confirm
The listing names NBA as the brand but carries no licence documentation, and we are not treating a printed BULLS 23 as proof of an official product. We also have no long-term wash data beyond our single cycle, so the print's life past a few months is unknown. Both gaps are recorded against this row rather than smoothed over.
Does the 250 g option actually weigh 250 grams?
No. Our size L shirt from the 250 g black bu23 option weighed 214 g on the scale, against 181 g for the 200 g version in the same size. Treat the numbers as a relative guide, not a spec.
Is this an officially licensed NBA product?
That is not established. The listing names NBA as the brand and prints BULLS 23 on the chest, but we found no licence documentation, so we assess it as a graphic tee rather than a verified licensed item.
Can I still order from this spreadsheet row?
Paste item ID 7715849691 into your agent and confirm it resolves and shows the same four option strings before you pay. Cached images and archived screenshots prove nothing about a live listing.
