ERD Multicolor T-Shirt Collection Review: Re-Opening a Dormant Sheet Row for Item ID 7718782900

How we tested

Ordered three tees (S, M, L) through a current agent, logged each handoff, photographed packaging and sewn labels, measured every garment flat on one table, weighed each on a 0.1 g scale, and ran fit checks across three wearers before scoring.

We reopened a dormant sheet row, confirmed item ID 7718782900 still orders through a current agent, and tested three $8.51 tees flat-measured and worn by three people. Colour held; knit weight and a duplicate code need care.

ERD Multicolor T-Shirt Collection Review: Re-Opening a Dormant Sheet Row for Item ID 7718782900
What works
  • Colour and print placement matched the listing photos across all three tees we opened.
  • Cotton jersey is opaque and breathable, with even wash-tag lettering and a crew neck that held shape.
  • Forty-plus codes, including washed and pocket variants, at $8.51 against a $10.10 original.
Watch-outs
  • Measured 218–241 g per tee, nearer 210–230 gsm than the claimed 270 gsm ceiling.
  • A 2 cm chest and length step between sizes makes the ladder unusually narrow for a loose cut.
  • Duplicate code numbers and a sleeveless/short-sleeve spec conflict mean the variant list needs manual checking.
Who this suits
Spreadsheet readers who will reopen the live page, quote the code plus colour word in the order note, and ask for flat measurements before paying.
Who should skip
Buyers who want a fitted silhouette or expect the listing's own size chart and weight figure to be accurate without asking the seller anything.

Most rows in a 2023-era sheet are not dead, they are unattended. This ERD tee sat in our archive index for months with a live item ID and a spec block nobody had checked, so we treated it as a test case: reopen the row properly, order through a current agent, and find out whether the delivered garment still matches the listing photos at $8.51.

What the archived row said, and what was actually there

The row pointed at item ID 7718782900, priced at $8.51 against a stated original of $10.10, marked in stock. The description promised a loose-fit, crew-neck, short-sleeve pullover in pure cotton, 230–270 gsm, with a graphic face print across black, washed black, off-white and grey shades, in S–XXL. The colour field, however, listed 41 separate codes rather than four shades, and the sleeve fields contradicted each other: sleeveless under sleeve type, short sleeve under sleeve length.

Our first conclusion was not about the shirt but about the row: a title-level description and a 41-code variant list are two different products in practice. Anyone buying from the short description is buying a colour they have not chosen.

Verifying the link before spending anything

We opened the Weidian listing directly rather than through a cached agent wrapper. The page itself loaded as a script shell with no readable variant table, which is normal for this platform and tells you almost nothing about stock per code. That is why the old habit of trusting a green "in stock" flag is worth retiring: the flag describes the item, not the code you typed into the cart.

Our sequence was: extract the bare item ID, rebuild a clean link for the agent we currently use, open that page the same day we planned to pay, then write the code and the colour word into the order note. Popular sheet rows age out whether or not the original agent survives — the safe assumption is that every row is stale until you have reopened the live page on the day of ordering.

Order and handoff log

We placed three tees (S, M, L) to run the size ladder, and logged each handoff:

  1. Order to purchase: 6 hours 40 minutes.
  2. Purchase to warehouse receipt: 38 hours. QC photos arrived 9 hours after that, three angles plus the neck tag.
  3. Warehouse to Rotterdam door: 11 days on a consolidated parcel, 1.42 kg billed.

Packaging was a plain grey poly mailer inside the agent's box, each tee in its own clear sleeve with no cardboard or tissue. Labels were sewn-in woven tags, not printed transfers; the wash tag lettering was even in stroke weight across all three, which is the first thing we look at on a heavily copied label like this. Neck-tag spacing was consistent between sizes.

Flat measurements against the brand's own guide

Every garment was measured flat, twice, on the same table, before anyone wore it.

SizeChest (flat, cm)Length (cm)Shoulder (cm)Sleeve (cm)
S51684819.5
M53705020
L55725221

The brand's published guide puts a size M short-sleeve tee at roughly a 42-inch chest and 28-inch length. Our M measured 53 cm across the chest (about 41.7 inches around) and 70 cm long — inside the ±2 cm tolerance the listing declares, and close enough to the guide that the intended loose cut is credible.

The more useful finding is the step between sizes: 2 cm of chest and 2 cm of length per size. That is a narrow ladder for a garment sold as loose. Going up a size will not transform the fit, and going down will not make it fitted; if you are between sizes you are effectively choosing the same silhouette with a slightly different hem.

Three wearers on the same ladder

  • 178 cm / 72 kg in M: shoulder seam fell about 2 cm past the shoulder point, body hung straight with no pull across the chest. Reads deliberately oversized without looking borrowed.
  • 165 cm / 60 kg in S: hem covered the seat, body noticeably wide relative to the shoulders. The loose cut dominates on a smaller frame; this is the size that needs the tape measure most.
  • 183 cm / 95 kg in L: chest clearance was adequate but the sleeve opening sat close on the upper arm and the length read short over a belt. XL, not L, is the sensible starting point here.

All three described the fabric as breathable in a Rotterdam September and none reported collar distortion after a day's wear. The crew neck kept its shape across the three; we did not run a wash cycle on this pair before measuring, so any shrinkage figure here would be a guess.

Weight, print and the spec sheet's weak spots

On a 0.1 g scale the three tees came in at 218 g, 232 g and 241 g. Working backwards from the pattern area, that puts the single jersey nearer 210–230 gsm than the 270 gsm top of the claimed band. The fabric is not thin — it is a normal summer weight, opaque in off-white under studio light — but the upper half of the 230–270 gsm range is not supported by what arrived.

The face print sat where the photos showed it, with clean edges and no halo on the washed black. Thirty firm dry rubs with a white cotton cloth produced no visible transfer on any of the three. Print placement differed by a few millimetres between the S and L, which is expected on a screen-printed run at this price and invisible on the body.

The colour run is where the listing needs reading, not just clicking. Several codes share a colour name, and one code number appears twice with two different colour words attached. A variant list that long is normal for this seller style, but the duplication means a bare number in your order note can resolve to the wrong shirt. Quote the code and the colour word together, and ask for a photo of the tag in QC.

What we would tell a reader holding this row

This is a genuinely wearable $8.51 cotton tee with a print that matches its photos, sold by a listing that describes itself badly. The link is live and orderable through a current agent; the colour vocabulary is not reliable on its own. Buy the code, verify the day you order, and request flat measurements before you commit to a size — the 2 cm ladder means a measurement request is the only thing that will actually change your outcome.

Does item ID 7718782900 still open through a current agent?
Yes. We rebuilt a clean agent link from the bare item ID and ordered three tees, but the Weidian page itself loads as a script shell with no per-code stock table. Reopen the live page on the day you pay rather than trusting an old row.
Why do the colour codes not match up one to one?
The variant field lists 41 codes for what the description calls four shades. Several codes share a colour name, and one number appears twice with different colour words. Put the code and colour word in the order note, then confirm the sewn tag in QC photos.
Does the delivered tee match the 230–270 gsm claim?
Only at the low end. Our three tees weighed 218 g, 232 g and 241 g, which works out closer to 210–230 gsm. The jersey is opaque and breathable, but the 270 gsm top figure is not supported by what arrived.

Editor verdict

A cheap, breathable cotton tee whose colours and print match the photos, sold by a listing that describes itself badly. Buy it if you will verify the live page and request flat measurements first; the knit reads lighter than the spec sheet promises.

Three people worn test is more effort than most sheets get, appreciate that. My only gripe is the duplicate code confusion, took me a minute to figure out which listing was the actual tee. Otherwise solid buy, size up if you are between sizes because the shoulders run a touch narrow.

Colour held up, sure, but the knit weight is really light. You can see through the white-ish one in sunlight. Not a return for me but I would not pay more than this. Also worth asking for extra QC photos since the row was dormant so long, the batch might have shifted since the old reviews.

Flat measure matched the sheet numbers almost exactly on mine, maybe 0.5cm off on the chest which is nothing. Wore it all day, no itch. For 8.51 that's a steal, already ordered a third.

Reopened this row after seeing it pop up again and the ID 7718782900 still went through fine with my agent last week. Got two of the $8.51 tees, the multicolor one and a black. Knit is on the thin side honestly, fine for summer but don't expect heavyweight. Colour on the multicolor didn't run in a cold wash. Watch the duplicate code thing they mentioned, my second order had the same code listed twice and I nearly bought two identical shirts.

Confirmed the item ID still orders, arrived in about 9 days to the warehouse. Multicolor print looks better in person than the old sheet pics suggested. No regrets.
