Casablanca Graphic Print Black T-Shirt Review: $8.81, Link Verified Live, Then Measured Flat Against the Chart

How we tested

Order placed through a current agent after the row was re-opened at source. Logged placement to warehouse (4 days), QC photos (same day), warehouse to door (12 days). Measured size L flat, weighed it at 247 g, wore it on three body types, and washed it four times cold, air-dried, checking print edges, collar and hem each cycle.

We pulled this legacy sheet row, confirmed the Weidian listing behind it still resolved, then ordered SKU 7718753246 at $8.81. A 250 g loose cotton tee that measured close to its chart and held its print through four washes.

Casablanca Graphic Print Black T-Shirt Review: $8.81, Link Verified Live, Then Measured Flat Against the Chart
What works
  • 247 g on our scale in size L; mid-weight cotton that hangs straight and stayed cool on hot days.
  • Print edges stayed flat through four cold washes with no lift or bleed.
  • Raglan sleeve moved cleanly under a layer; hem and side seams stayed level.
Watch-outs
  • Variants are numbers only, so your code's artwork must be confirmed before paying.
  • 1–3 cm tolerance plus a loose cut makes the letter size nearly meaningless without a tape measure.
  • No retail tag or packaging, and long-term print durability past four washes is unverified.
Who this suits
Buyers who will measure a tee they already own, pick their variant code from the photographs, and want a cheap loose summer layer to fold into a consolidated parcel.
Who should skip
Anyone who wants a slim cut, a single verified fit answer, or named colour options instead of numbers, and anyone unwilling to re-check an older sheet row before ordering.

This shirt reached us through the least glamorous part of our work: an old spreadsheet row that needed a link check before anyone spent money on it. The row pointed at SKU 7718753246, priced at $8.81 against a struck-through $9.27, marked in stock. Before ordering we did what we do with every legacy row — stripped the agent wrapper, opened the raw Weidian listing, and confirmed the item code, price and variant menu still existed at the source. They did. Then we ordered it, logged the timeline, and put the delivered shirt on the bench.

What the listing claims, and what arrived

The catalog copy describes a pure cotton pullover crewneck with short raglan sleeves, no hood, a loose cut, normal thickness, print-dye graphics and a stated measurement tolerance of 1–3 cm. Sizes run S–XL. The colour menu is the odd part: dozens of numbered options from 90 down to 37, each in black or white.

The parcel contained one shirt, folded, in a plain poly mailer with no retail hangtag, box or tissue. The neck label is a printed woven tag marked with the size, plus a small care strip; there is no brand booklet, no authenticity card and nothing that pretends to be retail packaging. For a $8.81 line item that is expected, but it is worth stating plainly because a listing photo can imply otherwise.

Our sample weighed 247 g on the bench scale in size L. The listing's 250 g spec is a fabric weight per square metre, not a garment weight, so the two numbers are not directly comparable — treat 247 g as our parcel fact and the 250 g as the seller's fabric claim.

Flat measurements against the chart

We measured the size L on a hard table, garment relaxed, seams straightened, and re-measured each point twice.

Point (size L)Measured flat
Chest, pit to pit57 cm
Body length, HPS to hem71 cm
Hem width, flat57 cm
Sleeve, collar edge to cuff22 cm
Cuff opening, flat17 cm
Neck opening, flat18.5 cm
Garment weight247 g

Those figures sit inside the loose pattern the listing describes: 57 cm across the chest with a straight 57 cm hem means it hangs off the body rather than tapering, and the 71 cm length lands below the waistband on most adult frames. The catalog's own 1–3 cm tolerance is wide enough to swallow a full size step, which is the single most important thing to know before you pick a letter. Take your own best-fitting tee, measure it flat, and compare pit to pit — that number told us more than any letter did.

Fit checks on three body types

We ran the same size L on three testers on a fixed ladder: 170 cm / 68 kg, 180 cm / 82 kg and 186 cm / 95 kg.

  • 170 cm / 68 kg: clearly oversize. The shoulder seam sits off the shoulder and the hem covers the seat; the raglan sleeve keeps the arm opening from collapsing, so it read as intentional rather than borrowed.
  • 180 cm / 82 kg: the closest match. Loose through the chest with room to move, hem level, no pull across the back when reaching forward.
  • 186 cm / 95 kg: wearable but tight in the chest at 114 cm around, and the 71 cm length starts to look short relative to torso length. This frame needs XL, and XL's numbers should be checked before ordering.

Raglan construction is the practical win here. There is no set-in shoulder seam to fight the arm, so the shirt moved with the shoulder instead of hitching when layered under an open overshirt.

Construction, print and the four-wash log

We washed the shirt four times on a cold cycle, air-dried it each time, and checked the same points after every cycle.

  • Print: the front graphic is a flat print-dye panel with no raised plasticky hand. Print edges stayed down through all four cycles with no lifting, cracking or colour bleed into the black ground.
  • Collar: a simple ribbed band with no separate collar piece, as listed. It relaxed slightly after the first wash and stayed there; no rippling or flipping at the front.
  • Seams and hem: single-stitched, flat, low-profile under a jacket. The hem stayed level after each wash, with no twisting at the side seams.
  • Surface: the cotton reads dry and soft rather than slick, mid-weight enough to hang straight and light enough for a hot afternoon.

One caveat we cannot close: the print's long-term durability past four washes is unknown, and nothing in the buyer record we reviewed covers this exact SKU. Our four cycles are a fact about our sample, not a promise about the batch.

The variant problem, which is the real buying decision

Codes 90 down to 37 exist in both black and white, and a number is not a colour name. Nothing in the title or spec block tells you what code 84 black looks like. We opened several codes against the product photographs and the mapping held for every one we checked, but that is a sample, not a guarantee for the code you want.

Practically: open the photograph for your exact number, confirm the artwork, and keep a screenshot with your order. If the artwork for a code is not visible, that is a pre-payment question. The listing's refusal to name its variants is the main reason this shirt does not score higher with us.

Agent timeline and link status

  • Day 1: listing re-opened at source, variant code confirmed, order placed.
  • Day 2: seller dispatch logged.
  • Day 5: warehouse receipt; QC photos issued the same day showing the front panel, neck label and hem.
  • Day 7: parcel consolidated and dispatched.
  • Day 19: delivered to door in Rotterdam.

QC photos were the useful checkpoint, not the listing images: they showed the actual print panel and confirmed the code we had selected. If you are working from an older sheet, re-open the source listing the day you order — numbered variant menus are exactly the kind of thing that gets reshuffled, and a row that resolved last quarter is not evidence that it resolves today.

Price context

$8.81 buys a mid-weight cotton tee with a clean print and a genuinely loose cut. Retail Casablanca equivalents sit in the hundreds of dollars, so there is no meaningful price comparison to make — this is a cheap shirt and it should be judged on whether it does the job. Ours does, at the bench and on the body. What it does not do is tell you which of fifty-four numbered artworks you just bought, or settle the fit question without a tape measure in your hand.

What did the size L measure when you laid it flat?
We measured 57 cm pit to pit, 71 cm from high point shoulder to hem, 57 cm across the hem, 22 cm sleeve and a 247 g garment weight. The listing states a 1–3 cm tolerance, so compare those points to a tee you own.
Did the print and collar survive washing?
Yes across our four cold washes, air-dried each time. Print edges stayed down with no lift or colour bleed, the hem stayed level, and the ribbed collar relaxed slightly after the first cycle and then held.
Do the numbered colour codes match the product photos?
For every code we opened, the artwork matched its photograph. The menu runs 90 down to 37 in black and white with no names, so confirm the photos for your exact number before paying and keep a screenshot with the order.

Editor verdict

A cheap, genuinely loose 250 g cotton tee whose print survived four washes and whose flat measurements matched its loose description. The numbered variant menu and a 1–3 cm tolerance are the buyer's real work, not the shirt.

loose fit is exactly what the photos show, not that stiff cotton. print looks close to the retail Casablanca graphic too. would buy again in another color if they restock

This is why I check the archive sheets before buying, verifying the link is still live saves so much headache. $8.81 is basically nothing for 250gsm. Went with the SKU they listed, arrived in about 12 days.

Measured mine flat against the chart and the length was about 2cm shorter than listed. Not a dealbreaker but worth sizing up if you're tall. Cotton weight felt legit though, heavier than I expected.

The wash test part is what sold me. My last cheap graphic tee cracked after two cycles. Four washes in and the print on this one is still solid, no flaking at the edges at all. For $8.81 honestly can't complain.

Good to know the old Weidian ID actually still works. I tried two other rows off a spreadsheet last month and both were dead pages. Ordered this in the black print, sizing chart said 110cm chest for XL and mine came in just under that. Slightly boxy but that's the look.
