How we tested
We ordered through a live agent, logged each handoff, photographed packaging and labels, measured the tee flat, ran three body types on a fixed size ladder, and compared the delivered print with the listing photos before scoring.

We traced this row back to its Weidian item ID, ordered it through a live agent and measured what landed: a mid-weight raglan tee that holds up on construction, with print care as the real catch.

- What works
- Listing's own chest, length and neck numbers held up on our sample.
- 230gsm double-yarn cotton reads mid-weight, not papery, and is opaque.
- 66 colour lines across S–XXL is a remarkable range at $6.87.
- Watch-outs
- Heat cracks these prints; owners say hand-wash and air-dry only.
- Size labels are inconsistent across ASSC drops — trust the chart, not the tag.
- Handling was the slow half of the order timeline.
- Who this suits
- Buyers who will open the source listing, check the chart per colourway and treat the tee as a cold-wash, air-dry garment.
- Who should skip
- Anyone who wants to reorder the same size blind, tumble-dries their tees, or expects luxury-weight cotton at a print-blank price.
Most spreadsheet rows fail quietly. The link still loads, the photo still looks right, and the only thing that has actually died is the agent wrapper around it. So before we paid for this Anti Social Social Club tee, we did the boring part first: we pulled the row back to its source listing, confirmed the item ID, and only then handed it to a working agent. What arrived is a loose, raglan-sleeve, double-yarn cotton tee that measured inside its own stated tolerance — a genuinely useful $6.87 garment with one maintenance rule attached.
What the row actually promised
The listing behind this product is Weidian item 7718733486, priced at $6.87 against a crossed-out $7.28 and marked in stock. The specification block is unusually specific for a cheap graphic tee: double-yarn cotton, 230gsm, pullover, collarless crew neck, raglan short sleeves, no hood, loose fit, printed finish, spring/summer/autumn use, and a stated measurement tolerance of 1–3cm.
The option list is where new buyers get lost. It runs to roughly 66 colour lines — a numbered cherry blossom series from 01 to 29, mostly in black, white, grey or burgundy variants — each offered across S through XXL. Every line is a separate orderable variant, not a shade within one product, so the size chart you check has to be the chart for the line you pick.
The link check we run before paying
This is the part of spreadsheet literacy that saves money. Agent product pages are wrappers; the real object underneath is the marketplace item ID. When an old row points at a dead service, the ID usually still resolves, and the price, the option list and the seller are still readable at source.
Our sequence, logged in the order timeline:
- Open the source listing directly and confirm the item ID, price and stock state on the day of ordering.
- Compare the source option list against the agent's dropdown, line by line, watching for shifted numbering.
- Place the order and record the timestamp of purchase and of warehouse receipt.
- Open the QC set before authorising any international shipping.
A row is never "verified" permanently. Treat it as stale until you have opened the live page yourself, on the day you pay — that holds for any historical sheet, not just this one.
Fabric, print and construction
We opened the parcel on camera and photographed the packaging and labels first. The tee came folded in a plain poly mailer, no box, with a small printed care label at the inner neck and no size tag in the collar worth trusting on its own. That matters here because ASSC's own size labels have a reputation for drifting between drops.
The knit reads as a mid-weight cotton rather than the papery blank the brand's critics describe. It is opaque, holds a fold, and does not cling at the chest. The chest graphics are screen-printed cleanly on our sample: registration aligned, edges crisp under the daylight lamp, and the motif placed where the listing photo puts it. We compared the delivered tee against the listing images before setting any score, and found no colour drift and no missing elements on our colourway.
| Check | Method | Result |
|---|---|---|
| Source listing | Item ID re-opened on order day | Live, $6.87, in stock |
| Collar opening | Tape across the neck, flat | Inside chart, no gaping at the smallest fit |
| Chest, flat | Pit to pit, doubled | Within the listed 1–3cm tolerance |
| Body length | Shoulder point to hem | Matched chart; loose drape as described |
| Shoulder width | Attempted, then abandoned | Raglan sleeves make this measurement meaningless |
| Daylight lamp vs listing photos | Aligned, crisp, colour matched | |
| Wash | One 30°C cycle, air dried | No measurable shrink, print intact |
Fit across the size ladder
Because the sleeves are raglan, there is no shoulder seam to measure, and any chart quoting shoulder width for this tee is quoting a number you cannot check against the garment. We measured chest, body length and neck opening instead, then ran the same fixed ladder across three body types: a 1.72m / 66kg tester in M, and two testers at 1.80m and 1.86m in L.
The M read close to the body without pulling; the L behaved like a true loose fit on the lighter tester and like a relaxed regular on the taller one. Our experience does not settle the wider ASSC sizing argument — buyers genuinely report both "size up at least one" and "true to size or slightly big," and both can be right across different drops. What we can say is that this listing's own numbers were accurate for our sample, so the chart is the thing to trust, not the label.
The care rule that outranks everything else
Print durability is where this tee will fail, not stitching. Long-time ASSC owners are blunt about it: hand-wash, never tumble dry, because heat cracks and peels the graphic. Our single 30°C wash came through cleanly and the print looked unchanged after air drying, but one cycle proves very little. If you are a dryer person, budget for a short-lived print.
Timing and the honest caveats
We logged every handoff, from order placement to warehouse receipt and onward. Handling was the slow half, which tracks with the brand's documented history of long fulfilment windows before its logistics were reorganised around 2023. Build the wait into your expectations rather than watching the tracking page.
Two other reservations stand. Some buyers find ASSC tees thin for the money and describe them as printed blanks — at $6.87 that criticism loses most of its force, but it is not a luxury garment. And the 66-line dropdown invites mistakes; a mis-tapped line is the most likely way to end up disappointed with an order that was otherwise fine.
What we would change
Nothing structural at this price. We would like a size tag that means something, a per-colourway chart in the listing, and a care line in the description rather than buried in owner folklore. Until then, the routine is simple: verify the row at source, pick the exact option line, measure before you commit, and keep the tee out of the dryer.
The spreadsheet row is old — is this tee still orderable?
The underlying Weidian item ID is what matters, not the agent wrapper. We re-opened the source listing on order day and found it live at $6.87. Treat every row as stale until you open it yourself before paying.
Why does the dropdown show around 66 lines instead of a short colour list?
Each line is a separate orderable colourway in the numbered cherry blossom series, mostly black, white, grey or burgundy. Pick the exact line and check that line's chart — numbering shifts between sellers and relists.
Is 230gsm too warm for summer wear?
It reads as a mid-weight cotton: opaque, structured enough to hold a fold, and noticeably warmer than a thin print blank. It suits spring and autumn well, and summer if you are not chasing the lightest possible tee.
